We really wanted to reinvent the Chocolate Krispie – NO easy feat, particularly when you don’t use sugar – so we’ve come up with this… Please don’t expect it to ‘pop’ like a Krispie, because that pop is SO artificial & this rather groovy & good’for’you number doesn’t pop but doesss have flavour!



1tbsp Coconut Oil

25g 99/100% Cacao Chocolate

1tbsp Almond Butter

Zest of 1 Orange

2tbsp Cacao Nibs or Sprouted Buckwheat

25g Puffed Buckwheat


  • In a pan melt the Coconut Oil & Chocolate on a low heat
  • Add the Almond Butter, Orange Zest & Cacao Nibs (or Sprouted Buckwheat) until well mixed
  • Remove from heat, stir in the Puffed Buckwheat until the Chocolate Covers them. Pop into individual moulds or a small lined tray (you can roughly slice when set) & allow to cool for 2 hours.

Serves: 12 (mini rounds)
