The perfect meal for two, and on a budget, very cost effective:



1 Partridge

1tbsp Coconut Oil

½ Lemon / Apple (Optional)

½ Butternut Squash

1 Red Onion

1 Sweet Potato

2 Carrots

3 Cloves Garlic

Pink Himalayan Salt & Pepper


  • Whack the oven on to 180°C
  • Meanwhile slice up your Veggies – we sliced up ours into large chunks, similar sized slices for each Veggie. With the Garlic simply crush it lightly, leave skin on and pop into Roasting Tray with the rest of your Veg
  • Add ½tbsp Coconut Oil, lots of ground Black Pepper and a little Sale, then pop in to Roast for 20 minutes
  • Whilst the Veg cook, spread the remaining ½tbsp Coconut Oil over the Partridge, if you have one, place ½ Lemon or Apple into the cavity of the bird
  • Take the Veg out, give them a shake, add Partridge to the tray and return to the oven for a further 35 minutes
  • Serve with some Greens (Broccoli / Beans / Spinach), Gravy if you’d or something like this epic zingy Salad
