2 Squid, including (the slightly creepy) tentacles

1tbsp Coconut Oil

16 whole Prawns

Juice of 1 Lemon

Pink Himalayan Salt and Pepper

4 slices Sourdough (gluten free if preferred)


  • Start by scoring the Squid on both sides, horizontally and vertically
  • Pop a frying pan on medium/high heat with the Oil. Allow to heat for 2 minutes, then add the Squid and Prawns
  • The Prawns will turn pink and the Squid will begin to roll up & change colour
  • When they start to go brown, add the Lemon Juice, Salt, Pepper and keep cooking until the juices have reduced to a syrup
  • Serve with toasted Sourdough and some more fresh Lemon
